Lunch & Learn: International Eating Disorder Reflections - Stephen Watkins

Stephen Watkins will lead a Lunch & Learn webinar in partnership with the NHS Benchmarking Network on 31st March, exploring learning from international eating disorders strategies. The session will examine the UK eating disorders treatment gap and consider how it could be bridged using insights from his research in Australia, New Zealand, and Sweden, developed with governments, providers, and service user and carer communities. The event is free and open to all.

Move Dance Feel: 10-Year Celebration – Premiere & Gathering - Emily Jenkins

Move Dance Feel, a creative organisation founded by Emily Jenkins that supports women affected by cancer through dance, will celebrate a decade of creativity, connection, and community on Saturday 11 April in London. The evening is open to all – whether you’ve danced with the organisation, supported its work, or simply want to learn more. The event will feature the premiere of a new choreographic dance film co-created with 24 women from the community living with and beyond cancer, reflections from Emily Jenkins, staff and participants on the impact of Dance in Cancer Care, live music, optional dancing, and nibbles and drinks.

The Music Within: Performance & Exhibition Opening - David Stanley

David Stanley, Founder of The Music Man Project, will present The Music Within: One Beat at a Time at the Royal Society of Arts on 13th April 2026. The opening reception will feature a live performance by The Music Man Project Global Ambassadors alongside the launch of a black-and-white portrait exhibition by official photographer Jon Webber, celebrating the creativity and talent of musicians with learning disabilities. The exhibition will run from 13–17 April 2026 at RSA House.

Dance and Health – Advancing Your Practice - Emily Jenkins

Emily Jenkins’ organisation Move Dance Feel is running Dance and Health – Advancing Your Practice, a hybrid professional development programme delivered in partnership with The Place. The artist-led programme supports practitioners working across community and health settings to develop inclusive facilitation skills, deepen artistic practice, and build national and international networks. The deadline for applications is 3 April and the programme runs from June to September 2026.

CORNWALLIS CLOTH - Tony Thompson

Tony Thompson's CORNWALLIS CLOTH, a powerful new film installation reframing narratives of war and uncovering untold stories of British Caribbean lives during the Second World War, premiered on 11 October at the Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich. Blending sound, performance, and archive, the immersive work explores themes of loyalty, freedom, and post-colonial identity, and is expected to run until late 2026.
