The Music Within: Performance & Exhibition Opening - David Stanley

David Stanley, Founder of The Music Man Project, will present The Music Within: One Beat at a Time at the Royal Society of Arts on 13th April 2026. The opening reception will feature a live performance by The Music Man Project Global Ambassadors alongside the launch of a black-and-white portrait exhibition by official photographer Jon Webber, celebrating the creativity and talent of musicians with learning disabilities. The exhibition will run from 13–17 April 2026 at RSA House.

Delivering RSHE in Schools Conference - Nina Smith

Clinical Pharmacy Congress

Aileen O’Hare and Elsy Gomez Campos will speak at the Clinical Pharmacy Congress as part of a session on the Churchill Fellowship and its opportunities for pharmacy professionals. They will provide an overview of the Fellowship, share examples of successful pharmacy projects, and offer practical advice on the application process. The session will also explore how the Fellowship supports international learning and the development of global professional networks.

Dance and Health – Advancing Your Practice - Emily Jenkins

Emily Jenkins’ organisation Move Dance Feel is running Dance and Health – Advancing Your Practice, a hybrid professional development programme delivered in partnership with The Place. The artist-led programme supports practitioners working across community and health settings to develop inclusive facilitation skills, deepen artistic practice, and build national and international networks. The deadline for applications is 3 April and the programme runs from June to September 2026.

Beyond Family Tree Conference - Emma Beddall

Emma Tilley will deliver a keynote presentation at the Beyond the Family Tree: Interdisciplinary Perspectives on AI, DNA, Education and Community in Genealogy conference, hosted by the University of Strathclyde, presenting findings from her Churchill Fellowship research on how investigative genetic genealogy can help provide resolution for families of unidentified individuals.

The Elements 4 All: Traditional African Wisdom for Healing and Betterment - Erica McInnis

Erica McInnis will lead The Elements 4 All: Traditional African Wisdom for Healing and Betterment, a six-week online course running from 10th September to 19th November 2026. Rooted in traditional African wisdom and inspired by the work of Dr Malidoma Patrice Somé, the course explores themes of identity, grounding, transformation, and wellbeing through interactive sessions, reflection, and discussion. The programme offers a therapeutic, decolonising approach to psychology and is open to all.

CORNWALLIS CLOTH - Tony Thompson

Tony Thompson's CORNWALLIS CLOTH, a powerful new film installation reframing narratives of war and uncovering untold stories of British Caribbean lives during the Second World War, premiered on 11 October at the Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich. Blending sound, performance, and archive, the immersive work explores themes of loyalty, freedom, and post-colonial identity, and is expected to run until late 2026.
