Hornsea Inshore Rescue Chair and Station Manager, Susan Hickson-Marsay was awarded a MBE in HM King Charles III's New Year Honours List. The Honour was awarded for ‘Services to the community through the provision of an independent lifeboat, flood rescue and sea safe education service’. Susan's Fellowship focused on improving the safety of children on the water.

Consultant Sarah Beresford (CF 2012) presented findings from her Activate Fund project at the Families Outside National Conference in Glasgow on 16 November. Sarah’s Activate Fund project focused on the development of a Child Impact Assessment to support children with a carer in the criminal justice system.
