Charity CEO Mary Smith (CF 2019) helped to launch a second therapeutic farming site in Cumbria through her charity Growing Well this month. This is the culmination of work that began with Mary’s Fellowship, which researched the creation of models for care farming that support mental health.

Campaigner Anna Wardley (CF 2019) presented her Fellowship findings to the Thames Valley Suicide Prevention and Intervention Network (SPIN) this month. Anna was also selected onto Sound Delivery's Media Spokesperson programme, which focuses on amplifying the voices of people with lived experience.

Care farm director Joy O'Neill (CF 2020) was awarded a place on the Women in Sustainability Innovation Accelerator Programme at Cambridge University’s Institute for Sustainability Leadership of this month. This will allow Joy to build on her Fellowship research, which explored care farming in rural communities, a practice that promotes wellbeing.
