Dr Graeme Lawson (CF 1983) has published a new archaeology book, Sound Tracks: Uncovering Our Musical Past, a journey through the deep history of world music, from the present day back to about 4 million years ago.
Since publication, Graeme has featured in interviews on Radio 4's Start the Week with Kirsty Wark and Radio 3's Music Matters with Tom Service. There have also been reviews in New Scientist, the BBC History Magazine, The Spectator and Country Life, and one of the chapters has been reprinted in the Telegraph.
