James Perkins (CF 2016) has received the 2024 Institute of Physics Teachers of Physics Award, recognising his outstanding contribution to physics education.
The IOP website states that James has been awarded for "subject expertise, curriculum innovation and skilled teaching, raising the profile of physics in the school, development of staff in local schools, and outstanding work with pupils through extracurricular activities at a local and national level."
