Maria Roberts (CF 2023) spoke at the National Suicide Prevention Alliance's conference in London, drawing on her Fellowship research to explore how to safely involve people with lived and living experience of suicide.
Maria also joined the UK and Ireland Suicide Prevention Roundtable, sharing her recommendation for a UK-wide approach to involving people with lived and living experience of suicide safely and meaningfully, and discussing opportunities for collaboration across the five nations.
She also delivered an online session with Discovering Liveability at the University of Edinburgh, exploring how organisations can meaningfully involve people with lived and living experience and ensure their contributions influence decisions and practice.
Erica McInnis (CF 2016) developed and delivered a five-week Emotional First Aid: African Psychology in Action course in North Manchester, in partnership with NHS Manchester and the Rainbow Centre, and was featured by the British Psychological Society for Black History Monthh.
