September 2026 Fellows' update: Nicola Kalisperas
Nicola Kalisperas (CF 2026) met Children’s Minister Josh MacAlister MP, Jo White MP, Department for Education representatives, and foster carer campaigner Rae Mortimer at the Houses of Parliament to discuss the needs of babies experiencing separation, loss, and transitions in care.
Nicola shared her Baby Passport proposal, a framework designed to record and maintain information about an infant’s sensory needs and sources of comfort as they move through the care system, as part of her wider Churchill Fellowship work on the first 1,000 days of life.
