Girlguiding leader Hilary Cooper (CF 1979) was awarded a BEM in the 2023 New Years' Honours for services to young people and education. Hilary’s Fellowship explored outdoor programmes of the international Girl Guide movement and many of her ideas resulting from this informed the outdoor programme of the movement in the UK.
