Teacher Michael Jones (CF 2015) has been selected as a finalist for the Climate Change Challenge being run out of Oxford University Business School. Read more about their Climate Change Challenge on their website.
The Business School put a call out for climate change teaching materials internationally. Michael's teaching materials were selected for judging in Abu Dhabi on the 1 November and the winners will be announced on 2 December at COP28. His resources focus on exploring climate change and carbon sequestration in trees using the vehicle of computer science to convey important messages and build skills. Michael says that he is happy release his materials to anyone who would find them useful in schools.
Teacher Michael Jones (CF 2015) has reported that the organisers of the Burjeel-Oxford Said Climate Change Challenge have selected his work on carbon capture as a finalist in their project. This enables Michael's work to be broadcast to a wider audience and it flows from his Fellowship project.
