Biography
I'm a co-founder of Toxteth El8te, a free UK basketball programme that supports young people through inclusive, community-driven sport. My Fellowship will take me to the USA and the United Nations in Austria to explore how late-night basketball can create safer communities and offer transformative spaces during high-risk hours.
Growing up in 1980s Toxteth, I witnessed first-hand how systemic barriers limited opportunity. That experience fuels my commitment to building accessible, youth-focused programmes that reduce antisocial behaviour, support mental health and spark ambition - creating real pathways and lasting social cohesion.
I aim to learn from global pioneers and bring those insights home to help shape a national framework for late-night basketball in the UK. My goal is simple: to build stronger, more connected communities - one court at a time.
