Biography
I am a CEO. My Fellowship enables me to travel to West Africa to research misconceptions around breast cancer among the black community, to support my existing work here in the UK.
I had breast cancer in 2016 and have dedicated my life to changing the narrative around cancer within the black community since. My aim is to bring back my learning from these countries to best support cancer patients from the West African community. I also hope to make some contacts to continue to share best practice at engaging more people from our community into cancer screening and early detections of cancer.
