Biography

The journey I undertook for my Fellowship became the narrative for my first book, Danziger's Travels, which became an instant bestseller. The Fellowship changed my life and since then much of my life has been dedicated to documenting the social and political issues that define our times in books, documentaries and photography.

My assignments have taken me to more than 100 countries and the resulting work has been published internationally and exhibited across the world. Much of this work has been used for advocacy purposes and the resulting images are part of several museum collections. I also continue to give talks to schools, universities, international organisations, and as a keynote speaker.

Among my other activities I co-run Picture People, a UK registered charity, which promotes the creative education of diverse people, particularly those living in marginalised and vulnerable communities, to empower them with the skills, knowledge and confidence in using visual media and technology to advocate for change.
