Biography

I am the Waste and Recycling Manager at St Nicks, an environmental charity based in York. I run a kerbside recycling service for residents, businesses and events as well as running waste reduction projects and workshops. I also set up and administer a Zero Waste York Facebook group on a voluntary basis.

My Fellowship enables me to take this work to the next level. By visiting countries much closer to achieving zero waste, and bringing their lessons and experiences back to the UK, I aim to learn how different sectors can collaborate to mutual benefit, making zero waste cities a reality in the UK.
