I'm a second-year undergraduate student at the University of Cambridge, reading Psychological and Behavioural Sciences. My project is part of the Education in Schools programme, aimed at developing evidence-based strategies to enhance the educational experiences of children with progressive intellectual and neurological deterioration.

Building on the textbook Juvenile Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis, Childhood Dementia and Education (von Tetzchner et al) , I am working towards refining a tool to assist teachers in planning for symptoms of regression. My hope is that this tool will help these children transition through the stages of their condition with tailored support, drawing on valuable insight from experienced caregivers and educators.
