Biography
I am currently a research fellow at the University of Plymouth. My Fellowship is about science communication, education, ocean literacy, outreach, engagement, virtual learning, conservation and innovation
in the context of revolutionising ocean education through creative remote methods.
Growing up by the sea, I witnessed at first hand the impact of plastic pollution, igniting my passion for marine science. However, throughout my career, I've identified a gap in ocean education. This opportunity allows me to explore innovative methods to share the wonders of the ocean more widely.
I'm on a mission to bring the ocean to the public. Despite misconceptions and limited access, I'm committed to using remote methods to captivate audiences nationwide, fostering a profound appreciation for our oceans and their wonders.
