January 2025 Fellows' update: Nina Smith

Nina Smith (CF 2023) appeared on the What’s in Your Head podcast, hosted by former Liverpool player Chris Kirkland and journalist Gareth Roberts.

She joined Mike Palmer MBE (3 Dads Walking) to discuss the impact of her Churchill Fellowship on school-based suicide prevention strategies and the 3 Dads' petition to make suicide prevention a compulsory part of the curriculum and how this work is shaping education policy in the UK.

Their conversation also explored the importance of suicide prevention in schools, including its integration into teacher training at Edge Hill University.
