June 2024 Fellows' update: Zoe Cadwell

Zoe Cadwell (CF 2019) presented at the International Association for Identification International Conference in Barcelona. She shared the results of a collaborative project with UK Police Fingerprint laboratories focused on developing fingerprints on forensic evidence from burial environments.

This project, underpinned by her Fellowship research in Australia and Canada on fingermark development in extreme environments, has enabled her to engage closely with UK practitioners to enhance forensic recovery.

Zoe's presentation was well received by the international audience, and she looks forward to presenting the results at two UK forensic science and fingerprint conferences later this year.
