Helping ‘left behind’ children to learn

James Perkins (CF 2016) has received a Community Impact Award from the Institute for Research in Schools (IRIS) for his work on the Electron Microscope in Schools project.
This initiative, informed by his Churchill Fellowship, supports long-term outreach and student research projects by bringing state-of-the-art scientific equipment into schools.
